Infest 2k !-The internal festival "Orage"

The internal festival of AIIMS is quite different from PULSE in respect that it is all away from the noise, astronomically large crowds, sponsors and the mental tension from protecting your events from aimless rowdies lingering around who get on your nerves at the security check posts.

Internal festival is the time when every Aiimsonian can relax and enjoy the festival if one wants to, as one knows that everything moves with ease at that time. The 2^nd semmers turned out to be pretty enthusiastic and took part in good numbers as soon as the fest begun. The event with maximum participation from our side was the CHOREOGRAPHY competition in which almost everyone of our class took part, directly or indirectly.

We all sat together and decided the theme, participants and the songs for the show. Then came the time to practice. I was astounded by the zeal, the energy and the verve everyone of my batch had. We all worked really hard and tried to put our best forward. Most of us had not faced the stage earlier and nevertheless it was a maiden performance for us. Actually the choreo practice in the foyer turned out to be a common platform for all of us to meet, share our views and to know each other better than we did earlier. Those who were of the introvert type got the opportunity to intermingle with the others and speak their heart out. Did you know that the script of our TWISTED FILM for which we got the first prize was also prepared in the foyer itself?

During the period of ORAGE it was clear that everyone had the spirit to work and show everyone that he can....! No one refused any kind of job offered to him or her. All the students showed due respect to the cause of the class events. Many of us traveled long distances, spent hours ignoring our basic needs to meet up to the requirements in time. However when a big show is being organized tiffs and squabbles are inevitable.

Our performance in the fest turned out pretty well. Individual achievements and along with group events helped us bag the best semester shield. This once again screams loudly that Aiimsonians not only have the best brains but also skills enough to excel in every field provided that opportunities arise to show their talents.

The infest or the internal festival called the "Orage"...which literally means the storm was the occasion for almost each one of us to freak out and enjoy for the last time in this academic session as after it...we all knew that everyone has to study for the approaching final exams. The achievements of the second semester in various cultural-social and literary events were as follows:
